One of the only good moves I made in my WNBA fantasy league in 2020 was to pick Myisha up off the waiver wire. If you don't know what that means, don't worry, I barely do either (I lost my league 1-11). My point is, most casual WNBA fans weren't expecting huge things out of Myisha in 2020. In her first two years in the league, Hines-Allen had started only one game, and played less than 8 minutes per game in 2019.

But it turns out that all Myisha needed was the opportunity. With multiple Mystics players opting out of the 2020 season, Hines-Allen moved into the starting line-up and dominated. She opened the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds... and never really slowed down. Although she is a little short for her position of power forward, its her physical strength and conditioning that make her unstoppable. She ended the season on the All-WNBA Second Team and runner-up for Most Improved Player.

Myisha also quickly improved in my personal player rankings. She's a player that you'll catch dancing on the sidelines as well as on TikTok. (Per her bio, she only promised us three months of TikToking, but boy, were they good.) An unrelated fun fact: Her little brother is in the NFL!
