The Basics
Aaliyah is one of the 2021 first round draft picks who was selected higher than expected, so we did not get to see her live draft reaction. That's unfortunate, because Aaliyah has been through a lot to get to this moment, including her diagnosis with and comeback from Graves' disease. And she more than earned her selection, with her excellent jumpshot, 3-point shooting, and defense.
