Megan gained the nickname "50 piece Meg" after dropping 50 against another team in high school. (She was so focused on the game she didn't even realize she hit 50 until later.) She continued her scoring dominance at college, leading UConn in scoring at 20 points per game her junior year before she declared for the draft. Walker is ready to make that same impact in the WNBA - the Mercury is confident she will too, signing her before the 2021 season for her natural 3-point ability.
Off the court, Megan Walker should sign on to a buddy cop show with secret-service recruit Tianna Hawkins. She's said that she would love to work in the FBI after watching her uncle, who is in law enforcement, and Dog, who is a bounty hunter.
