The Down Low
Kia is a center known for her defense and footwork, which she credits to playing double dutch growing up in the Bronx. Her dad also made moves on the playground as a street ball player at Rucker Park, where he went by the nickname "Predator."
Kia spent most of her WNBA career close to home on the New York Liberty and Washington Mystics, but she's also picked up significant hardware overseas. She is a 3x Czech National League champion, 2x Turkish League Champion and a EuroLeague champion. Most recently she competed on Fenerbahçe with other WNBA stars. Kia is now on the Phoenix Mercury, where she is far from home, but close to her favorite chicken and waffles place.
