Rebecca is one of a number of Australian players in the WNBA. Prior to being signed to the Liberty in 2015, she was already playing professionally in Australia, earning the 2014 WNBL Defensive Player of the Year. She also represented her home country in the 2020 Olympics.
Rebecca is nicknamed "Spida" due to her long limbs (she's got a 6'5 wingspan). She uses those long arms to her advantage on defense, getting her hands in for steals and blocking shots.
