The Down Low
Ty's motto is "finish your breakfast," which represents how you have to put in the work, train hard, and not give up in order to see results. This mantra has certainly paid off for her. Ty, along with bestie Kiki Herbert Harrigan, led South Carolina in their record 2019-2020 season, when the Gamecocks went 32-1, were undefeated in the SEC, and finished the year ranked Number 1 before the NCAA tournament was cancelled. Ty is South Carolina's all-time assist the leader and won the Dawn Staley award for best guard in Division 1 basketball for her efforts.
In the WNBA, Ty was drafted on to a young Wings team, where she was among a group of other rookies. With her consistent minutes, she already begun racking up the assist numbers again. And you can count on Ty to finish what she's started.
