      Betnijah Laney had an absolute breakthrough season in 2020. After being cut right before the season by the Indiana Fever, she was picked up by the Atlanta Dream. Previously, Laney had been known for her defense, but apparently no coach had ever bothered to ask her to play offense. In this podcast interview, she described how Dream head coach Nicki Collen let her loose on the offensive end. And boy did it pay off — just look at her improvement on almost every single level in 2020:
